Unfortunately, like many law firms, tracing companies such as ours are sometimes targeted by criminals who, wrongly, believe that we hold passwords to client crypto accounts (we never do). Our role is to assist clients and their professional advisers on all and any issues to do with crypto currency. Our advice is not just technical, nor is it just deskbound. If preferred, we will visit homes and offices, conduct physical password searches, “interrogate” phones and computers for hidden passwords (using specialist software) and interact with third parties such as crypto exchanges.
We understand your AML/KYC and other professional obligations
We assist professional advisers with their AML and KYC obligations; to limit their liability exposure; and on how to avoid inadvertently breaching Financial Conduct Authority regulations.
We are advised on an as-needed basis by a solicitor who is the Deputy MRLO and head of digital assets compliance at a large law firm, so we understand your professional needs.
We are flexible
We can help directly, and/or liaise directly with the lay client. In particular, we can assist with probate, estate administration, divorce and insolvency situations.
We are affordable
We don’t know of any other firms offering the range of services we offer, but certainly those who offer a tracing services typically provide that service to enterprise level businesses and charge accordingly. Our services are pitched at professional advisers and SMEs – and we charge accordingly
We are not in competition with you
We do not provide legal, accountancy or tax services. We can provide such assistance upon request but through referrals to specialist solicitor and accountancy firms.
